Yes, it takes 110 - 120 VAC, which is US standard single phase outlet power. Meaning 1 hot, 1 neutral, and 1 ground. Usually the neutral and ground are tied together at your load center. The hot wire and either neutral or ground should be able to supply the standard 110VAC, which ranges usually from 108VAC to 122VAC. it is not uncommon to have brownouts or surges above this range.
