A:AnswerIf the heat sink already has pre applied thermal paste on it that hasn’t touched a previous CPU then you’ll be fine. If you’ve removed the heat sink and want to put it on the new CPU then you’ll need to get yourself some new thermal paste and apply a rice grain size on the cpu and fit the heat sink on it afterwards.
