Have you tried turning it off and back on again? Seriously though, return it. Might be a defective one. Possibly returned prior for the same reason.

Best I can tell as long as there's no physical damage you need to clean the charging contacts on both the case and the buds, charge to 100%. Ensure when you are putting the right earbud into the charger that the red charger indicator lights goes on and stays solid. Wait until the light is green then try again.
