Yes it works great as a oven quiet suggest using convection mode for baking

Yes you can. This is truly a small oven. Be aware it takes up a lot of counter real estate and it draws an incredible amount of energy! It pops my breaker if I use more than the oven and my electrical system is up to date with a 200 watt box. This is an OVEN not a toaster oven. It is quality but I wish I had brought it back, I hate this monstrosity. If you are looking for an energy sucking oven go for it.
