• All kitchenaid stand mixers have a one year warranty and some of our family members had problems past the one year and Kitchenaid took care of it!

• The Pro5Plus that I got from Target (same price--looks like the same offer) is a new item and comes with a standard warranty.

• The manual that came in the box stated that the machine had a one year warranty. Might be a typo on the site description.
