Its not. It has a trial Office for the first 30 days after purchase. Office gathers a credit or debit card from you while setting up the laptop. It will withdraw $99 from your card automatically if you dont change the option before the 30 day mark of your purchase of the device. The $99 will become an annual payment i believe so its cheaper to use Google Drive or purchase Office 365 if possible.
