• I wish it could/would have that option, but based on the user manual, this is a "energy saving feature". Clock disappears after ~5min of inactivity.

• by having the clock display doing its power saver operation is a great enhancement. there is an insert explaining the Automatic Standby Mode for Display is factory set at 5 minutes to turn off with no activity. You can touch any button to exit standby mode and REACTIVATE DISLAY.
