“Out of the box my lg 24 inch smart tv will not connect to my cable wifi, what am I missing, the set up screens identify my wifi and password but does not connect. Do I need a physical connection to my modem, why no wireless connection?”

I would call their technical support. I had no problem with wireless connection, even connected to my phone's Hotspot since we use this TV in our camper.
