“does this go to portrait mode”

• Hello kko. Any monitor can be positioned in portrait mode if you have a stand or mount that allows you to rotate it into that position. The stand for the LG 24'' Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor with AMD FreeSync (23.8'' Diagonal), Model # 24ML44B-B only allows you to tilt the monitor.It does not allow you to rotate the monitor 90° from landscape mode to portrait mode. Keep in mind that monitors that are not designed to be used in portrait mode do not have the necessary ventilation to handle the excess heat that is generated when a monitor is used in portrait mode so you cannot use the monitor for long periods on time in that mode. The monitors also do not support Auto Rotate mode so your operating system or GPU has to support that...^Ivan

• Not with the included stand. You would need a VESA mount to position the display in a portrait orientation.
