Q: QuestionWill the LG WDP4W work with the DLE1101W electric dryer?

• A:Answer No. They are not compatible. The DLE1101W does not have the mounting clips for a pedestal, and the foot placement does not match the WDP4W mounts.

Q: QuestionWhat Pedestal should I buy for LG WM2277H & DLE5977I saw in some previous questions/answers that the size compatibility is there but not the best option due to the control panel. Do you have a model suggestion in order to purchase pedestals or would this model be the best/only option? I would really like to purchase pedestals but want to make sure they are the correct ones.

• A:Answer We have the same washer and the size is compatible. The pedestal comes with a mounting system on the top of the pedestal. Our washer didn't have the corresponding mounting bracket on the base of the washer so I believe it was designed for latter model washers. We used the old existing attachments which are flanges attached to the pedestal and sticky tape attached to the washer. It holds it fine but it is impossible to get the washer to stabilize when doing a heavy load. See my review of the pedestal. Wish I hadn't thrown away my 9" pedestals as I would put them back on and resell these higher ones.

• A:Answer Yes, the compatible pedestal is WDP4W. WDP4* replaced the WDP3* pedestal but they are both designed for compatibility with 27" LG Front Load Washers and Dryers. The only difference between them will be the mounting bracket installation. The WDP4* uses the t-clip installation method. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionIs this pedestal compatible with any other brands like Samsung? I am replacing my Samsung with LG WM3500CW. The specifications are almost identical to old (Samsung is 27 x 38.6 x 31.3). The new LG is 27 x 38 11/16 x 31.5. Will this work?

• A:Answer I’m not sure if it will or not; but if you pull up the specs on the Best Buy website for your model numbers it will list the pedistals model numbers compatible for each model including the new sidekick. Just make sure you know the mdl# of the pedistals you have. Hope this helps

• A:Answer The feet of the Lg - Washer/dryer Laundry Pedestal For Most Lg Washers And Dryers, Model # WDP4W will have to sit in the collection pan and it would have to be one that has a drain in it since any collection pan narrower that the setting of the feet will not fit under it...^IFV
