When you say the fabric softener compartment is "full of water", is that residual water, or is it there an excessive amount of water in the compartment? It is normal for there to be a residual amount of water in the fabric softener compartment for the LG 4.1 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Top Load Washer with TurboDrum™ Technology - White, Model # WT6105CW, or in any washer. The compartment works by filling, then siphoning the liquid out, so if you do not use fabric softener, If the machine is not perfectly level, water may not sit correctly in the dispenser to trigger the siphon, causing it to remain in the compartment. Low water pressure may also be another cause. If the water pressure is too low, the water entering the dispenser won't flow fast enough to start the siphoning process, or it may be a faulty water valve solenoid requiring a service technician...^Ivan.
