• Look at an online PDF of the owners manual on the LG web site.. On page 25 under the heading "Cycle Modifier Buttons" it discusses automatic adjustment of water level.

• Yes, from what I understand. It is extremely intelligent and energy-efficient, and when I put in a wash of just a few items, it used just enough water to wash them, and wash them *well*.
