The carton mine came in said "Made in Korea". But, LG also has a large factory in the US for making washing machines. There is a drain filter that protects the pump. It is easily cleaned out via a rectangular access door on the front of the machine. A clog before this pump can cause all sorts of problems, so if the machine starts to malfunction, this is a good thing to check. You may avoid needing a repair tech. Here is an LG video that shows the process: https://youtu.be/5Ty3bVhR5iM It's easy to do but if you are good about emptying pockets of coins and the other kinds of things that can make it to this filter, you may find you almost never need to clean it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Regrettably, I do not have this information. LG is a Korean company with manufacturing plants in South Korea, the US, China and Mexico. I'm not sure which filter you are referring to for the washer. ^Daphane
