Best Buy is not authorized to connect a gas dryer to a gas supply line in NYC. If you purchase the Energy Star® Certified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Gas Dryer WashTower™with Steam and Built-In Intelligence - White, Model # WKG101HWA, with a delivery address in NYC, they will drop off the appliance, but their delivery crews and standard Geek Squad agents are prohibited by city law from connecting it to the gas line. Because Best Buy relies on standard commercial delivery networks and non-plumber technicians for their standard "Regulated Markets" tier, they cannot legally hook up the line in the five boroughs. You will need to hire a private, NYC-licensed master plumber to handle the final gas connection, test for leaks, and ensure compliance with city codes...^Ivan.
