The LG 43 inch Class 1080p Smart FHD TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43LM5700PUA has a Content Share feature that allows you to enjoy music, photos and videos saved on your PC. If you have Windows 7 or later installed on your PC, you can play music, video, photos, etc. on your TV without needing to install a separate program. Right-click the music / video / photo file you wish to play, then select your model using the “Play To” feature built into Windows 7 or later to play the file. You can also download and install LG's SmartShare PC Software from the LG website (www.lg.com) and use it to connect the music / videos / photos saved on the PC to your home network and play them on the TV. Both your PC and the TV must be connected to the same network and the SmartShare service is only available when the TV and server PC are connected to a single router....^IFV

    • Answer Regrettably, we are not familiar with WGBH or KERA, however, the Full Web Browser on the LG 43 inch Class 1080p Smart FHD TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43LM5700PUA and on any TV is not exactly like the desktop web browsers you're familiar with, but it is both compatible with all the HTML standards that websites use and is able to convert and display those sites properly on its screen. The TV uses the Blink-based LG browser engine (Chromium 53). TLS v1.2, TLS v1.1 and TLS v1.0 (Upgrade of SSL v3.0) security protocols are supported...^IFV

  • QuestionCan the TV sit on a pedestal instead of using the feet? We have an older entertainment center built for the more square TV's. We think the 43" TV would work as it has a ledge that comes out 4 1/4" as long as it could sit on a pedestal.
