• I have my TV sitting on top of an armoire in my bedroom. TV was barely sitting on top. I took a very thin piece of plywood (1/4 inch) slightly larger than the top of the armoire (2 inches all the way around) and stained it to match my furniture. Then I stained the plywood with MINWAX PolyShades Stain & Polyurethane in 1 Step. I let it dry for 24 hours before I placed it on top of my furniture and under the TV. It works perfectly and looks great.
