Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello John. You can use the LG 55 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55UM6910PUC with an indoor or outdoor antenna. The TV has an F-Type, 75-Ohm, coaxial connector in the back labeled "Antenna/Cable In' that you can connect an internal or external antenna to and it has a built-in ATSC tuner that allows for the reception of Over-the-Air (OTA) broadcasts. The number of local stations that you can receive will depend on how many are available in your area, on the strength of the antenna that you use, and on your proximity to the broadcasting station. As a rule of thumb, indoor antennas are suitable for areas with strong or very strong signals, the attic/outdoor antennas work in areas of medium signal strength, and the larger outdoor antennas in areas of weak signals. If you live close enough to the broadcast towers for the stations you want to watch, a less-expensive non-amplified antenna might be all you need. Digital TV typically provides between 20 and 60 channels depending on where you live and you will get a higher image quality from broadcast TV than from cable and satellite because cable and satellite services compress the video signal in order to reduce the bandwidth required to stream it to your home, all so they can cram in more of the channels you probably never watch anyway...^IFV
