I am loving the way this oven looks; however the stove-top looks like a pretty stainless rather than the typical black porcelain. Pretty yes, but looks like it'd scratch easily when trying to get the inevitable black baked crud off it? null

The top is stainless steel, however, I use stainless steel cleaner to clean the top. When it's something heavy duty then I use the stainless steel cleaner you can use on a grill.

You can also place a small amount of stainless steel appliance cleaner or polish on a damp cloth or paper towel. Try to wash and rinse any spills from foods with a high acid or sugar content as soon as the surface has cooled so they don't leave a dull spot...^IFV
