How soon is coming soon? null

The LG CX 77 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77CXPUA is slated for a May release so it should be available sometime during this month. Please contact Best Buy for an ETA on the TV or to ask them to alert you when they have it in stock...^IFV

Crutchfields has a JUNE 29th date on this one...so we shall see.. Pandemic must have delayed this one by 6 weeks and I am thinking the 48" slated for JUNE, must now be August sometime,,.,if we are lucky....I can't wait to try both. Interested to see how the CX compares with this A9G SOny...the C9 did very well...does the CX gen 3 chip give it the crown this year?? :-))

It may well be end of June, early July till we see either LG or Sony. LG is actively marketing the 77" and 48" because they use the same sheet of "glass" for both. As far as the Sony comparison, since they both use LG panels, the difference is going to come down to video processing itself. I think Sony has a history of better image reproduction as a whole, but I agree that a side-by-side will be interesting.
