• It does not switch the HDMI port with my Sharp TV setup so I believe you would need to program it to a universal remote.

• No it doesn't but I'm sure if enough people suggest it to lg it could be a simply software download!! Also for the price you can't bet it! My wifi access point is pretty far, but haven't had any issues streaming Vudu, Netflix or YouTube!
