• A:Answer Do you mean the Cisco DPQ3212? If so, then it should. The Velop is supposed to be compatible with pretty much all routers. The internet coming into your house has to connect to the Cisco router and then you'll come out of the router from the Ethernet connection with your Cat 5 or 6 Internet line to your first Velop. • A:Answer Yes. Our Smart TV and Xbox One are wirelessly connected to the Velop nodes and work great. You cannot use an ethernet cable from the 2nd or 3rd node to have wired connection - at least not yet, per my conversation with Linksys.

• A:Answer the rental thing is actully not named router, it called modem. so no, it cant replace your modem, cuz its just a router. Modem=reciver internet from verizon Router= make the internet wireless Buy an verizon gateway g1100 for $99, you can save up $120 for a year.

• A:Answer Yes. It’s called a wired backhaul and that is when these things work well. Stick to CAT6 cable if you can and stay under 300 feet. Good luck.

• A:Answer Hi, GaryB. The Linksys Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System, like any router/Mesh system, will be dependent on the internet connection it receives from the source. Upgrade to the Tri-band model is the best option as long as it is properly configured and equipped with the latest firmware, as each node is expected to cover up to 2,000 square feet, for a total of 6,000 square feet for three nodes.
