Yes. It will work. Quad core is just a measure of the ability of the cpu to process multiple things in parallel. Dual core cpus have two cores while quad core cpus have 4 cores. They can do more stuff faster.

It doesn’t affect the working of the camera itself. As long as the camera is compatible with your operating system, it should be fine.
