You can assign button by application, add your app to list and assign buttons as preferred.

The left and right click functions of the mouse are currently non settable by the Logitech Options software that is the download for this device. If the function you are referring to is a keyboard shortcut or keystroke, and you are accepting of using a different button on the mouse, than yes, you can set a keystroke in the Logitech Options software.
