I found that I needed to adjust the sound mixer to get the clearest sound. The default mixer settings are very tinny and flat. Boosting the highs and lows and decreasing the mid-range clears it up. I doubt that going optical will really make a difference, the problem is the default mixer settings. It took me a while to adjust it to be the same as my old 7.1 system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Johnny. You can use an equalizer to adjust the highs and lows that you're hearing. The subwoofer has a knob to adjust the bass. Sometimes, turning down the bass will allow the highs to shine a little better.
