• Separately? No... The Sub is controlled by the main/right speaker. While you can have any of 3 input types in (so RCA, optical or mini jack) from home theater to the sub, you would still need the right speaker for power and bass adjustments.

• Hello Brad! The Subwoofer in the Z625 2.1 Speaker System cannot be used on it's own no, as it is linked to the 2 satellite speakers to be powered on.
