No in order to play the PS5 version you need the PS5 but if you buy the PS4 version you get the free upgrade to the PS5

I would recommend getting the PS4 version of the game, which can upgraded to the PS5 version for free later. You simply access the PS5 version on the PS5 when you have the PS4 disc inserted. It will give you the option to download the full PS5 version, which will always require the disc in the system to play like normal.
