QuestionCan the bottom doors open if door can only open to 90 degrees. A wall on one side prevents it from opening any farther.

QuestionDoes this model have an air filter an if so where can I locate instructions on how to change it?

- Answer Ashley, this model does have an air filter. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances! Install the air filter behind the vented door, located on the rear wall near the top of the refrigerator compartment. 1. Remove the air filter from its packaging. 2. Lift open the vented door. 3. Snap the filter into place. Replacing the Air Filter The disposable air filter should be replaced every 6 months, when the status indicator has completely changed from white to red. To order a replacement air filter, contact us. See “Accessories” in the User Guide, Use and Care Guide or User Instructions for information on ordering. 1. Remove the used air filter by squeezing in on the side tabs. 2. Remove the used status indicator. 3. Install the new air filter and filter status indicator using the instructions in the previous sections.

QuestionMy space has a cutout in the wall 2" deep x 28 1/4" wide x 62 1/2" high. This accommodates part of the depth of the coils at the back of my present fridge. Will it make any difference to the depth taken up by this Maytag fridge?

- Answer The height of the refrigerator is 65 3/8" to the top of the refrigerator cabinet, or 65 13/16" to the top of the door hinge. - Answer deebee, the temperature LED's indicate the cooling level the unit is set to. The MRT118FFFH does not feature a temperature alarm. As far as the door opening, the interior light is the only thing triggered.
