“I see you are to be able to record multiple shows and save them on my external usb, i can record but they get deleted in the next day. What am i doing wrong. Can you record one daily and then one weekly? Do i have a setting wrong? Format? Please help!”

This unit does not save any recordings to USB devises after you turn it off or remove the devise. You must leave it on in order to see what you record.

The problem I was having was I had to buy a 32 gig USB drive and now what I record is recording, correctly. Yes you can record both daily and weekly shows as long as the times are not conflicting with one another. For example, I record 2 shows Monday-Saturday from 1-2, then 2-3, but then I record one show that only come on Saturday at 12 noon and I have the setting set on weekly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure why your files are being deleted. Is it possible you don't have enough room on your drive, or thumb drive? I have some shows set for weekly, and some shows set for daily, with no problem. Good luck.
