“Will this list all the channels and programming at one time ? i bought the Aluratek and cant seem to be able to get a list of all channels and programming without having to go through each channel”

The media sonic is about the same way. If you are looking for a set top box like dish or demand this is not it. Not very user-friendly!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Very limited guide which gives only the channel you are on as you flip through them. This box does have a very good single tuner and does an excellent job of recording, but it is not simple to operate and has a poorly designed remote. For programming info, I would suggest you need another source for programming info such as might come with your Sunday newspaper. But this box is less expensive than most of the others you will find. Depending on your situation and needs, you might consider the Tablo Lite, which does have a guide showing all the channels together, but it also requires a streaming device because it transmits wirelessly to your TV's and other devices. For both boxes, you will need a dedicated hard drive connected to the the box if you want to do recording.

It doesn't list all of the channels at once, but for each channel - it does have a list of upcoming programs to choose from for recording. Then just go to the next channel using the volume buttons. You can also make a Fave list of programs to pull up with a button on the remote. I got a decent indoor antenna & am very pleased with my cut-the-cord results!
