This phone works in and outside the US but can't guarantee that all carrier features will work outside the US as this phone is a US variant and has a different band. I would suggest contacting your preferred service provider to see if this phone will work with their service. • A:Answer I believe a 'hot spot' is based on your provider. But it does have a USB cord to go to computer. But hot spot makes your phone a wifi transmitter so you dont have to hard wire it. Just log in to wifi in your pc.
