The device is perfectly capable of wourking on US Cellular. The problem is they won't allow it. They are still stuck in the carrier-branded-only mode, like Verizon and Sprint a few years ago. You could try SIM swapping, but I they might disable the account when they noitice the unapproved device or turn of features (like Verizon used to do).
