• I have tried to get the update but says not compatible with my camera so no updates available.

• Yes. The firmware version 1.01 for the Nikon D3300 provides support for turning VR on or off in the menu when a Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens is attached. This firmware does not address the limitation concerning the lens focus ring on the AF-P 10-20mm lens; the lens focus ring can not be disabled when in autofocus mode.
