• Looks to be be fairly well protected, so should be able to shaving cream with it. It does claim dry shaver so don't use it in the shower.

• i called phillips help number and they said, yes. you did not answer the question or the the contradiction of the picture showing it being used with shave gel. be more concise and answer the question completely.

• Hello! The Philips Norelco (S3552/89) shaver is only a dry shave.
