• I worked in the video game industry for 8 years as a rep and back in 1984 we went through the same thing with the PS4 and there was only 4 million units. Sony is making at least 10 million units by the end of the year so their will be unit to get. Sony and Microsoft hold back a large number of units for launch day to make it more exciting of an event. Remember people getting in lines and it on the news? That is how you build excitement. The head of Sony said that they are making enough unit until the end of the year so if people want one they can get a unit. There will be more preorders and launch day. Don't fall into the ebay trap like tickle me Elmo;s and Bennie babies pay $1500 for a $400 device. So if you do not get a preorder be ready for launch day fun! I think it is a good time every time I have done one.

• The PS5 will not be readily available to the average person. The only way the average person will be able to buy a PS5 is if they would limit quantities that scalpers can buy to 1 unit every 6 months.
