Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can charge it using a power block rather than charging it through the Switch. I plug mine into the wall to charge it, I do not use the switch to charge it. For some people the Switch is the closest source and it does come with a 10' usb-c charging cable. I am not sure if plugging it into the switch connects it through the cable or if it still connects wirelessly... might be worth trying out.
