Yes. It will work with Windows or Mac laptops (and possibly others) as long as you have a free USB-A port (the rectangular one). The webcam is advertised to work with Windows 8, and while that is true, the optional software for extra controls requires Windows 10 or higher and will NOT work with Windows 8. The camera itself will still work on Windows 8.
