No... no matter what someone says, digital is digital and transfers sound and picture at 1080p, etc. better cables are built better, creating longevity and quality at the pins (not missing pins), etc. Also, make sure your cables are certified! If you are worried about the picture you can check the quality of your digital feed, etc. and if you have a great feed and want to get a better image then you are stuck going to 4K, but will only experience 4K with 4K feeds. Also, if you upgrade to 4K you will likely want high speed hdmi cables which increase bandwidth, etc. I'm not an expert... just two cents from an average guy! Hope it helps. Andrew

If you have a real cheap Hdmi cable maybe a better cable may help Check your over the air broadcast they would show the best via an antenna due to less compression that the cable and satellite companies do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely, what a difference it's make and better picture quality. Highly recommended this product, also take a look about HDMI 4K they also have higher speed and you will see the difference in the picture. It cost a little more but it's worth it, try it what you have to lose and if you don't see the difference return it's that simple. Good luck!
