The factory cable is sufficient, but an upgraded cable would improve overall experience & when playing online. If you're an avid-gamer who plans to purchase the PS5 coming out next year (Oct. - Dec.), I would put your money towards that purchase, and use the factory cable.

But either way, the tv has to be hdr capable as well so if it is and the ps4pro cord isnt hdr capable, most definitely buy the rocketfish 4k hdr hdmi. Its worth it trust me, it made a big difference!
