An amplifier will only increase a signal whether its bad or good. Consult your cable company. You may just have bad wiring. Your wifi is inside and isn't affected by cold - unless the outside wiring has a problem. Cable companies are notorious for installing or using existing bad wiring. Make sure they use new wiring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is definitely worth the try -- not that expensive compared to other solutions. I would try it first. I just have a TV antenna and it seems to have helped with my stations from 'jumping out' somehow ! If not, then you know for sure you need to have your stuff checked out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had a similar problem with high temperature. The cable amplifier only helped slightly. Combining all of the outputs may help, but replacing the cable is the only real help.
