The cable that came wirh your sounbar is fine. No need for you to waste money purchasing another cable.

To me…if your soundbar and the tv’s audio processor is top tier then it will only be as good as the weakest link. In this case yes, the supplied hdmi cable are usually basic and will not have gold-plated connections. Although, if you’re not an audiophile you may not notice and the supplied cable will work just fine.
