If you want to do 4k (HDR) video and especially gaming, make sure your computers graphics card supports the 2.1 standard and you have a 4k hdmi cable. If not, the screen may go black. Its not the tv, its the card. You don't need a service call or to take the tv back. My Rx480 can display 4k just fine, but add HDR and the screen is blacking out.
