I purchased this TV and also a samsung 2 channel soundbar. The soundbar has a optic cord. But there is nowhere on the TV to plug it in. So how do I hook this up? I don't know a lot about technology. null

Plug in a HDMI cable from the HTMI2(eARC) on the TV to the HDMI port on the back of the sound bar. once the TV has recognized it, it will turn the sound bar on/off when you turn the TV on and when you use the volume buttons on the remote, it will adjust the volume on the sound bar.

i have an old Bose system that doesn't have HDMI just analog and the optical. i found this item to be useful as you can connect your tv via Bluetooth and optical cable.
