I think this is a luxury to me your cord charger that came in the box with your Note 8 works just as good and just as fast as the wireless charger unless you want something different where all you want to do is sit your phone down on the charger then buy it i bought it and i still uses the cord charger

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say it's more of a luxury thing. I also have a Note8. The stand itself is fast charge, however, charging in the wall is faster. Not to say the stand charges super slow, but I could tell a difference. I use mine mostly at night or if I have my Bluetooth keyboard connected while using Microsoft Word, just so my phone keeps charge while I'm typing documents. Really, I love the convenience of being able to look in the middle of the night at the clock or taking it wherever I go. Pretty handy to have around.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Personally I felt the same way, but I kept going through cords and wearing out the port. This not only saves time with the fast quick charge but you can just pick it up for a quick return text and set it back down effortlessly and not have to fumble with a stupid coffee! Trust me, cut the cord!
