“I want to take a picture of my quilt tops and then draw a pattern of where and what I want to stitch on my quilts. Will this work? My phone and Kindle work to do this, but the screen is way too small and I don't like the lines.”

This tablet should work for you. The large screen will be better than a phone. The camera is pretty good on this device. You can open photos and edit (draw) with the pen.
