“I just purchased this player and a 4k tv. If I buy 4k hdmi cable can i watch dvds in 4k using this blu-ray player? On a separate (but similar) note I also have a roku 3. Would a 4k hdmi cable work with that as well? or did i buy a 4k tv for no reason? :(”

• DVD does not support 4K but it still plays in regular mode. It will be a while until Roku support 4K. Only 4K movies blu-ray will play to the full potential.
