Please try again later.Yes, it should play back in full HDR as long as you have the player and the TV setup to do so (go into settings of each and make sure your 4:2:2 mode is set up to either auto or on, depending if you want to upscale all movies or not). I watched the "Eddie the Eagle" 4k blu-ray with my Samsung 4k TV and this player, and it worked wonderfully. Make sure you have a good HDMI 2.0 / 18gbps cable, or you will experience skips/freezes during playback as lesser HDMI cables can't keep up with the bitrate of 4k. I bought a $10 securomax HDMI 2.0 / 18gbps cable and it works great.
