I have samsung 55" curved 6 series uhd tv and i have the xbox one s and the samsung k8500 blu-ray player and i was noticed a difference between the two but i was also impressed by the xbox one so it might be you tv because i had a sharp 4k tv and there was no picture differeance between 4k and regular blu-ray so i got rid of the sharp did my homework and upgraded my tv
