QuestionI have not tried to plug both ends in at the same time, PC and IPhone (like using a USB extension cord) I have not seen documentation on this. ? IS IT POSSIBLE ?

- Answer Neither have I but you don't need to. Just download the app for the drive to your phone and set it up. Then you can easily transfer files back and forth never having to use iTunes. It is easy to drag and drop files into the drive from your computer and frees up space on your phone.

QuestionCan you plug a flash drive to this device & pull up docs or pics from an existing flash drive? If so, are you able to edit the docs providing you have the correct app (Ex: word or excel).

- Answer Yes, in order to use the SanDisk® iXpand USB 3.0 Flash Drive in an iOS device you must download SanDisk® iXpand Drive app from the App store. However, you'll get an option to keep or erase the backed up files.

QuestionI downloaded all pics onto the flash drive. I failed to delete the pics from phone. However, now I want to do that but cannot find the command on flash drive app to make that happen. Please advise.

- Answer Select the iXpand Drive app, view files on iPhone, layout then the photo icon on the top left. It should show a check mark in the upper right of your screen. Check off what you want deleted and then hit delete.

- Answer As fast as a USB 2.0 can do it. I did it for just 900 photos and it was OK (everything depend on the size of the photos -mine about 1.5 Gb-) This is a tool to get more room of the iPhone, not a high speed backup device, so it does its job extremely well, for me.
