The following link is what I bought to transfer the files directly from my Samsung S9. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not have Samsung S8 but I do have Samsung Note 4 and it works with my Note 4 by transferring pictures from Note 4 to this SanDisk USB and have no problem just like transferring from your PC to it. I hope this help.
