I expect this will work on the iPad if the iPad supports the exFat file system which is how the drive arrives. I have only been able to use the drive with Windows because when I plug it into a Linux system, the windowing system slows to a crawl and the mouse pointer freezes. I've not bothered to diagnose the problem yet, but needless to say I will only be using the drive on my Windows systems until I do.
